K4 - 4 Year Old Kindergarten
The EVCS four-year-old Kindergarten is designed to suit the child who is either not quite ready for full time Kindergarten or has not met the age requirement of being 5 years old by September 1. This excellent program also meets the needs of children who are ready for more academics than a preschool atmosphere offers.
The EVCS four-year-old Kindergarten offers a safe, Christian atmosphere where children are given a good foundation in basic skills, preparing them for full-time Kindergarten.
All classes are on a 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. schedule, Monday through Friday.

THE CLASSROOM
The classroom atmosphere is Biblically-based and led by a loving, Christian teacher. Songs, science, crafts, art, poetry, field trips and outdoor play are all included in a fun day of learning and fellowship.
Learning for Excellence
LETTERS AND PHONICS
The EVCS four-year-old Kindergarten program teaches letter identification and beginning phonics. With this sound, well-established approach, children are able to read very early.
WRITING
The writing program is correlated with the basic phonics program to help students learn and review phonics as they practice
correct letter formation.
NUMBERS
Numbers emphasize the basics in counting, number recognition, adding, and understanding easy story problems.
