Who we are

Welcome to Eagle View Christian School! We have been in operation since 1995. EVCS is a ministry of New Life Christian Center and is located on the church grounds. We have two large facilities with many acres in a beautiful country setting.

Our goal at EVCS is to provide an atmosphere where students can learn in a safe, wholesome, and fun atmosphere where Jesus Christ is Lord. We believe that every child is gifted by God and uniquely different. Together with you our desire is to discover, develop, and deploy each young person into his/her divine call in life.

THE CLASSROOM

The classroom atmosphere is Biblically-based and led by a loving, Christian teacher. Songs, science, crafts, art, poetry, field trips and outdoor play are all included in a fun day of learning and fellowship.

K4 - 4 Year Old Kindergarten

The EVCS four-year-old Kindergarten is designed to suit the child who is either not quite ready for full time Kindergarten or has not met the age requirement of being 5 years old by September 1. This excellent program also meets the needs of children who are ready for more academics than a preschool atmosphere offers.

The EVCS four-year-old Kindergarten offers a safe, Christian atmosphere where children are given a good foundation in basic skills, preparing them for full-time Kindergarten.

Three sessions are offered:

* Mon., Wed., and every other Friday

* Tues., Thurs., and every other Friday

* Monday through Friday

All classes are on a 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. schedule

MATH

Kindergarten math emphasizes the basics in counting, number recognition, adding, subtracting, and in understanding story problems.

SOCIAL STUDIES

Students learn about community helpers, beginnings of American history, simple geography, and children of ten different countries in their own colorful workbook.

K5 - 5 Year Old Kindergarten

Children are eager to learn, and their parents are delighted to assist them! At EVCS, parents can be confident that their children are enjoying an exciting, balanced Kindergarten program. Care has been taken to consider every developmental facet of Kindergartners. The EVCS Kindergarten program offers a safe and fun learning atmosphere where Kindergartners are given a good foundation in basic skills and are motivated to look forward to elementary school.

General School Information

Curriculum

EVCS employs the A Beka curriculum in most subjects. The EVCS Kindergarten program teaches children to read using a sound, established phonics program that makes beginning reading fun. With this phonetic approach, students are able to read very early.

The EVCS curriculum offers students at every grade level a sound education in literature, English, mathematics, science, and social science. High School students have the option of taking college preparatory classes in specified areas of study such as chemistry, biology, algebra, geometry, calculus, physics, etc.

Bible is taught in every classroom by the classroom teacher. One day a week, the entire student body and staff meet together for chapel.

Electives vary from semester to semester.

Statement of Faith

We Believe:

Healing has been provided for you by Jesus and is available for all to receive. (Isaiah 53:4-5, James 4:13-15)

Every believer can live a healthy, prosperous and renewed life in Christ Jesus. (3 John 1:L2)

Purpose Statement:

The purpose of Eagle View Christian School is to develop an atmosphere that is conducive to the spiritual and academic growth of every child. EVCS’s vision is to be an academy where moral standards are set by the word of God and upheld by the faculty and student body. The goal of EVCS is not to isolate the students from the world in which they live, but to prepare them effectively in the formative years that they may be equipped to lead godly and successful lives.

We believe that a child challenged scholastically and lifted up spiritually will be able to act responsibly and display a maturity that pleases God and serves others. It is our purpose to advance the students in their destiny while building a character that withstands the moral pressures of the day. Our vision is to be a school where dreams come true!

Registration

Registration Fee: All registration fees are non-refundable

$100.00 for all returning students if paid by May 1st.

$125.00 for all new students if paid by May 1st.

$200.00 for all students registered after May 1st.

Tuition

Tuition is paid on the first of the month for 10 months of the year, September through June. All accounts use an automatic checking account withdrawal system. The amount of your child/ren's tuition is automatically withdrawn from your personal checking or saving account on the first of each month. There will be a $10.00 late fee charged monthly for delinquent accounts.

If a student enrolls after the first of the month, tuition will be prorated at $20/day for that month. There is no refund if a student is withdrawn or expelled during the month. Student records will be released when the account is paid in full. All fees from the previous school year must be paid before registering for the new school year.

K/4 (Part Time) $2,850 per year $285.00 per month (over 10 months)

K/4 (Full Time) $3,850 per year $385.00 per month (over 10 months)

K-6th $3,850 per year $385.00 per month (over 10 months)

7th-8th $3,950 per year $395.00 per month (over 10 months)

9th-12th $4,050 per year $405.00 per month (over 10 months)
